Arriving in the South Island
The South Island’s major international airport is Christchurch. During the ski season flights from Australia also utilise the Queenstown Airport. Visitors arriving from the North Island often ferry across from Wellington to Picton; an enjoyable 3 hour cruise (or 1.5 hours on the fast ferry).
If you are travelling from the North Island via ferry Your Tour can commence your tour from Picton or Nelson.
